SMOKED MEAT PREPARATION AT HOME

Overheating can cause a tougher texture and loss of flavour.

  • Fill a pot with water, boil and bring down to simmer.

  • Add smoked meat in the unopened bag.

  • Heat for 10 minutes per lb of meat.

  • Slice thinly against the grain with a sharp knife.

  • Serve on fresh rye bread with mustard.
